Autumn Jewellery Trends 2026

With autumn just around the corner, it’s time to start updating your Penman collection
for the new season. As our wardrobes move towards cosy knits and layers, jewellery is
getting a little bolder too.
This autumn is all about jewellery with personality. We’re seeing statement shapes,
chunky gold, and a return to mixing metals. Whether you prefer classic pieces or like to
experiment with your jewellery, there’s plenty to get excited about this season.

Here are some of the biggest jewellery trends we’re loving for autumn 2026:

Chunky Gold

Gold jewellery is getting bigger and bolder this season. Chunky chains, statement
bracelets and sculptural rings are making an impact, bringing a little more character to
everyday jewellery.
One chunky piece can be enough to make a simple outfit feel instantly more put
together. A bold bracelet, oversized necklace or statement ring can work just as well
with your favourite jeans and knitwear as it can with an evening outfit.

    Modern Pearls

Pearls have always been a timeless edition to any look but this season, we’re seeing
pearls in more contemporary designs, with irregular shapes, statement sizes and
    unexpected combinations.
Baroque pearls are particularly lovely for autumn thanks to their natural, slightly
imperfect shapes. They add something special to an outfit without feeling too formal,
while pearl drops and modern pearl necklaces make an easy alternative to your usual
    everyday jewellery.

    Charm Jewellery

Charm jewellery has been having a big comeback, and here at Penmans, we’re not
complaining. It’s one of those trends that feels much more personal than simply
    following what’s fashionable.

From meaningful symbols and initials to simple stars and hearts, charms give you the
chance to make jewellery your own. Wear one favourite charm on its own, or layer
several together for a more eclectic look.

    Statement Earrings

If there’s one easy way to update your jewellery for autumn, it’s with a great pair of
    earrings, designed to be noticed.

With hair tucked back in scarves and coats, statement earrings are the perfect way to
make an impact and upgrade any basic outfit. This season, we're seeing bigger hoops,
bold shapes and eye-catching details that are made to stand out.

    Mixing Metals

Gold or silver? This autumn, you really don’t have to choose.
Mixing metals is an easy way to make your jewellery feel more individual. Combining

gold and silver adds a bit of contrast and works particularly well when layering
    bracelets, necklaces or rings.

You can start small by adding one contrasting piece to your usual jewellery, or go all out and combine different metals throughout your look. There really are no strict rules — the slightly undone, mixed-up feel is part of the appeal.

    Autumn Colour

Autumn dressing naturally brings richer colours into our wardrobes and the new Katie
Loxton collection has brought them into our shop. Jewellery is no different and this
season, we’re loving warm browns, deep greens and cherry reds.
Coloured jewellery is an easy way to bring a little more interest to an otherwise neutral
outfit. Think a warm-toned necklace with a cream knit, a pop of colour against black, or
a rich brown piece paired with gold.
